Why We Exist

AZ Marketing Masters

Like many businesses, AZ Marketing Masters formed because we thought we could do better. 5 years ago I was managing a local business. We hired a local agency to build a website and a membership system for our business. We paid $14,000. Once we started using the system, we noticed it was not tracking members credits correctly. We asked the agency to look into the issue and were asked to pay $125/hr for them to fix it even though they had just built it.

Not willing to pay them for something they should have done, I started learning. It took me over a month, but I fixed their problem and learned a lot in the process.

I learned I was not alone with this experience. I found many businesses were being ripped off with poor service and plans that simply did not achieve results.

We will always be honest with clients. We don't have contracts because we plan on delivering a good product. We have affordable pricing because modern software cuts down on the time web development takes. We're transparent because there's no reason not to be.

Our Vision

Every business needs these services. We wanted to build a platform where businesses can get all the things they need to excel online at an affordable price in an easy-to-manage package. Nothing too fancy, just real people getting real results for real businesses.

MEET OUR TEAM

We're serious about not being too serious. We love the work we do and we hope you do too.

Graham Aldredge

Owner

I started AZ Marketing Masters to help small businesses get ahead without breaking the bank. I worked for a large agency and couldn't stomach ripping people off. The web development and digital marketing industry is complicated enough that companies can get away with charging whatever they want and explain the cost through technical jargon. I also wanted to create a company that you can easily contact if you need help.

What makes you good at your job?

I didn't realize this when I began in this industry, but my diverse knowledge base has really helped me connect with clients and create a good product. I grew up on a farm in Kansas so I know a little about a lot of things. I know how to ride a horse, fix a car, paint a house, nail a board, drive a tractor and a lot more. I have also had a wide range of jobs from being a counselor in a psychiatric hospital to a baseball umpire, I've done a lot of different things.  If you're a auto repair shop that specializes in alignments I know exactly what that is and what machines and tools are required to do alignments. Believe it or not I also have my massage therapy license so if you run a spa, you don't need to worry about me understanding your services.

What/where was your education?

I went to NAU in Flagstaff and got my degree in psychology. I think my background in psychology really helps me build great sites. I like studying consumer behavior and making sites that make it easy for customers to give you their business.

When you're not building websites, what are you doing?

I run about 50-70 miles a week on trails and also enjoy riding dirt bikes. I have been riding and racing dirt bikes for about 25 years and it seems to be something I'll always enjoy doing. I have a bad habit of eating junk food so the running definitely helps me stay in shape.

Maddy Ward

Account Manager and Copywriter

I first joined AZ Marketing Masters as part-time editor to help Graham polish and refine the hundreds of pages of copy he writes for his websites. I have an uncanny ability to pick out typos; finally my perfectionism and attention to detail is paying off.

My role has since evolved into interacting directly with clients. Through my work as editor I got to see how much Graham was helping small business owners and I wanted to get more involved. Now I’ve stepped into an Account Manager role where I’ve been enjoying my conversations and meetings with business owners who I know could benefit from our services.

I get energized by the idea of making a difference in people’s day-to-day lives. Sure, in the grand scheme of things a good website isn’t life-changing, but it’s the small things that count, and I enjoy the process of learning about the people behind the business. The beauty of AZ Marketing Masters is that we really care about what goes up on our clients’ websites, and I take my job seriously in making sure we give our clients an online presence they can be proud of.

When I’m not out meeting with clients, I can be found on mountain bike trails working on my handling skills. Originally a professional road cyclist, I have some work to do on my off-road capabilities, but it’s a fun work in progress. My dream is to get back to competing at the elite level and I’m thankful that my position within AZ Marketing comes with the flexibility to keep that dream alive. See you out on the trails!

Renny

Project Manager and Zoom Interrupter

I like AZ Marketing because I get to play fetch a lot. Dad can only stare at the computer so long before he has to pay attention to me. I don't understand when he talks to people through the computer so I got bark at the door.

My big brother is actually a little brother. Even though he's twice my size, I'm 4 times as old as him and it shows in my vast wisdom regarding treat procurement, hole digging, rabbit chasing and other dogisms.

Norman

Customer Service Manager and Senior Zoom Interrupter

I love people. That's what makes me the ideal customer service manager. I'd rather get petted than eat dinner! I'm pretty big and kinda scary looking but I'm a sweetheart. I just kinda do whatever Renny does and it seems like it works out pretty well.
